SET ASIDE TIME

While mindfulness is quick, meditation involves setting aside 5-10 minutes, working up to 20 minutes.
A strong meditation practice can impact our ability to regulate our emotions, cope with stress, and lower our heart rate.

PICK A FOCUS

Pick a focus that has meaning to you — it could be a verse, prayer, song, or poem.
Close your eyes and center your mind on that one focus, acknowledging and releasing other thoughts as they come.
